Introducing the Galactic Case for the Raspberry Pi 5.  This case features a new fin design offering massive passive cooling with an aerospace look and finish.  There are precision threaded holes on the bottom of this case for mounting to DIN rail or bolting to other assemblies.  A Polycarbonate button is designed into the case allowing actuation of the new power switch on the Raspberry Pi 5.  It also transmits light from the indicator LEDs thru the button.  The case has an opening allowing the GPIO 40 pin ribbon cable to pass out the side.  There is a thin slot and internal relief cut into the upper housing to allow a ribbon cable to pass thru for the PCIe port.  The CPU and Power Management IC have contact heat risers to pull heat into the housing.  The Galactic Case is fully CNC machined from 6061-T651 aerospace aluminum and includes all Stainless Steel hardware, a tube of thermal grease, hex key for assembly, adhesive feet and super soft, electrically insulating ceramic/silicone thermal interface material for the Power Management IC riser.

Features include...

  • MASSIVE Passive cooling performance even when overclocked.
  • Clean Modern Design
  • Assembly bolts are on the bottom and hidden a cleaner appearance.
  • Power button allowing Status LED to show thru as well.
  • 75mm x 100mm outside dimensions
  • 47mm overall height without feet attached.  Feet add 1.4mm

Cool chilling stuff

It'll definitely will add a touch of chilling flavor to the Raspberry P5. Fits like a charm, Tony is super suave, very diligent. The quality is impeccable! Love it overall. Positively do recommend.

Fabulous

This is one gorgeous looking enclosure for the RPi 5, best in class both from an aesthetic and a functional perspective. I use this as an audio streamer, the Volumio distro runs at 33-35℃, which is super chillin'!

Great looks, great performance

The appearance of this case is HIGHLY attractive. You can tell from the pics it is VERY stylish. Elegant, I might say.
The looks of this thing don't tell the full story. If you've been watching videos on YouTube, you'll see perhaps half a dozen demonstrating the Pi5's NVMe capability. DeSalvo was smart enough to engineer these cases so that the PCIe ribbon had a path out of the case. There are also pre-tapped holes in the bottom, so if you wanted to get one of these adapter boards, you could have a mounting plate for them 3d printed.
But the big question on your mind is probably the thermals. Well, I've been running 'stress' on all 4 cores. It has been running for FOUR HOURS. I am seeing a Delta-T of about +29°C at stock clocks. 48° with an ambient of 19°. I'd say there's room for overclocking with this bad boy.
